I usually just lurk on your blog in constant awe of your creativity and craftiness but I had to comment today and say thank you for the quote. I needed to read that today!
oh, ain’t that the truth…
If only. I actually learned 5 years ago after cancer took my father away to learn to be in love with my life. This year unfortunately, all of those horrible feeling have resurfaced. I work as a recreation therapist at a life care community and so LOVE my job. This past summer we lost 12 residents and it has been so super hard on me. We had a resident that was an art therapist by trade and she was simply amazing. She could get these residents motivated to make anything. I’m not really sure why I’m spilling my guts here, it’s just that I feel no joy in my work life and it’s reflecting into my home life. So with all that said, I’m going to push forward and find one thing a day to be in love with in my life…. Thanks for listening!! Still storming heaven for your fast and speedy recovery!
