Boo: OWWW, my knee hurts even worser now!
Me: That’s because the antiseptic is working and killing all the germs.
Boo: So it’s like a war, they are punching inside of me.
Me: A little like that.
Boo: But the BAD GUYS are winning!
Me: Don’t worry, the good guys eventually win.

I started a book of ism’s for my girls too. Man, they have some funny stuff!! I started it on Sept 11, 2010 and am several pages in after only one year. I love that I can look back and laugh all over again. It will be great for them as they get older as well.

One of my favorite gifts is a book my daughter made me of all the cute things my little grandaughters said over the course of a year. This was several years ago and I still enjoy reading it. : ) Kids really do say the cutest things!

Oh, how I wish that I kept a journal of all the darling things my now 14 year old son has said-especially when he was little. I always thought that I would remember everything. NOT!!!! Some things, yes (beepees=groceries) (bargage=garbage)but sadly, mostly things are gone. Young mommys, PLEASE take note: keep a journal. My son loves hearing about the things that he said that I remember! I love remembering them even more!
