Mr. LBB and I often lay in bed at night waiting for Boo to fall asleep and her conversations down the hall just entertain us to no end:
Boo: Tomorrow I’m going to tell everyone why Pluto isn’t a planet anymore.
Me: That sounds great. Why isn’t Pluto a planet anymore?
Boo: I don’t know yet.
Me: Daddy will Google it in the morning for you. Goodnight.
Boo: HEY, I’ve got a great idea, why don’t you make me a polka dot dress?
Me: Ok. Goodnight.
Boo: A dress covered in dots like my blankie.
Me: Sounds good. Goodnight.
Boo: I’ll wear it to school and everyone will say “that’s so soft I want to eat you.”
Me: Great idea.
Boo: I’m so glad you bought me a flashlight with no batteries. I don’t have to put batteries in it.
Me: GOOD NIGHT Boo.

My 4yr. Old says…. Let me tell you something… Just one more thing… Okay, just one more thing… Can you read me one more book? Can you lay down with me for 1 minute? Okay, maybe 3 minutes, no five! Just 5 minutes!
Ha Ha Nicole sounds JUST like my house. And we also have ” I forgot to kiss Katie.” (our dog)
We have these kind of conversations ALL THE TIME!
So cute…my little soon to be 4 yo gd likes to role play and I know when she calls me Grandmother,in lieu of Mamaw, I’m suppose to respond to her as Granddaughter, instead of Presley. When she calls me Sweetie, I’m suppose to say “What Momma?”. I love the imaginations of these little people…all things are possible!
We have Beanisms at our house. Our favorite? issuations. Definition: When you have some major problems. Derivative: Issues and Situations Sentence: “Mom, Bunny is having major issuations today. How are we going to help him?”
Love it! My four year old also won’t stop talking when its bed time: I just want to tell you something/show you something/ask you something….
Oh, I love it!! I’m so happy to hear that these random conversations don’t stop once they turn 4! I think they have to be some of my favorite things about my daughter.
PS ~ I’m sitting at work just laughing out loud! 🙂
Love the Booisms. We have a similar version in our house only we have a Leah Loo. She will turn 4 on November 8. What treasures these babies are for us. I am praying for you and your sweet family Ashley.
So sweet! Treasure every moment!! These years of innocence and wonder just don’t last very long!
