Oh my…..where did the day go?! It was a day of visiting so I was barely online for even a second today! My friend Shari was in town for Palm Springs’ first International Art Fair. She stopped by to hang out in the LBB studio for a while before she had to catch her her flight. Boo and I met my mother-in-law Gale and my sister-in-law Christy for lunch and then Christy came back to hang out for the day. She flies back to the east coast tomorrow morning. We put her to work…..she stuffed bags of Choose Joy bracelets for us. We even had window washers today and Mr. LBB and his crew stopped by and Boo was home from school of course. This place is always buzzing and buzzing with activity and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Boo and I worked on her play room for a bit…..I’ll share that soon. This evening we went to my in-laws for dinner because Mr. LBB’s grandmother and 2 aunts are in town visiting. 10 adults and 4 kids running around. Phew. I think I just fell into bed!
The only photo I have from today is of Boo…..wearing one of my head scarves this morning. So cute. Her cute sweatshirt is a sample from last year’s Spring line…..made by Evy’s Tree exclusively for Lil Blue Boo.
Off to bed…..we have more visitors tomorrow. I’m fitting in everything I can during the next few days because Thursday is my icky Cisplatinium full day of chemo and that means I’ll be out of commission for a few days after that.

Of course, an adorable daughter modeling always helps…THis morning my husband was looking at SEO stuff (i really know nothing about it) and said honey your favorite site is LilBlueBoo…I said well, I really like it and he said, oh I know, you talk about it and your FRIEND everyday!! lol…So know there are many households who are lifting you up in prayer everyday…You are like a morning jolt of caffeine!
I have been at work for roughly 3.5 hours so far today and have spent 90% of that time reading your blog and The Cancer Chronicles from the beginning. You outlook and attitude is just awe-inspiring. I am feeling so blessed having read your story and I plan to keep reading. You will be in my thoughts and prayers and I will celebrate with you in spirit when you beat this cancer. All the things in my life that have left me feeling sad, angry, frustrated, anxious….they are nothing compared to what you are enduring and the fact that you choose joy everyday is just awesome. Some of your posts even made me laugh out loud through my tears. Thank you for inspiring me to choose joy today…and every day here after.

Where did that cute scarf come from? My gran just got diagnosed with breast cancer. She had a radical double mastectomy this morning and had both lymph nodes under her arms removed as well as some of the nerves. She will have chemo therapy too and was worried about losing her hair. I showed her your video and she doesn’t feel so bad although she told me I must find out where all your cute scarves come from so she can look as adorable as you do 🙂
