It’s way too hot outside……so I let Boo ride her scooter in the house. Two rules: stay away from the stainless steel refrigerator and stay away from the dog. She even rides it to the bathroom. I don’t think the kid is ever going to break a sweat again. Boo’s quote of the day:
I wish I could earn money by doing nothing.
And then…..Shia LaBeouf funeral-photo-bombed my snapshot.
We have no carpet, and my kids scooter everywhere.
Take another soon around the house for me boo…
Spin….
So happy to know that I’m not the only one that let’s my kids perform outdoor activities inside. In my defense, it’s been 107 degrees with crazy humidity for over a week now! Ok. I let them do it year around. I can’t blame the heat:)
LOVE IT! I work at a church and I often let my son bring his scooter when he hangs out with me there on days off from school or in the summer… he zips around the gym, fellowship hall, and the hallways…. but only when no one else is around! Don’t need him taking out a church basement lady!
Boo is one profound chick – she just articulated what we all feel deep down!!
I do this in the winter when it’s too cold, snowy, or icy for my little ones to get out much to play… Hey, don’t judge me! Almost anything is welcome when it comes to the cabin fever of active children! 😀
Boo is so wright, if we could ,we also would like to earn money by doing nothing.
She is a smart kid.
Greetings from Belgium, Martine
Our scooter is pretty much an indoor toy. With my daughters adventurous spirit my only rule is NO STAIRS!
Sweet. I’d like to roller skate at my church’s fellowship hall someday if I can sneak in.
My kids not only scoot in the house, but they ride their bikes as well.
Can I adopt you as my mom….you’re the coolest!
When she figures out how to do that (make money w/o doing anything), can she/you provide a tutorial? 😉
Smart girl! Don’t we all wish that! Let us know what she comes up with…
