LOVE THIS!! Clothing optional is how it should be every day!
LOL….definitely BTDT!! Sometimes I’ll scramble about 10 minutes before hubby gets home to move a few things around, start the dryer …even if the clothes have been dry for hours!
So I am not the only one who does the 4:30pm get dressed, dry a load of laundry and unload the dishwasher?
*Raises Hand* 🙂
yep! i do this too haha
Nope. Do it too.
ha ha..i’ve done this with my kids a lot!! lol plus done housework in like 10 min like a crazy woman so it looks like I did something that day! ha lol Glad i’m not the only one!! 🙂 love this!
Ha! As my 3 year old is laying on the couch in her Cinderella undies watching How to Train Your Dragon and I managed to get dressed and do my makeup… but my hair is in a knot on top of my head, kitchen needs to be cleaned and my husband went to get dinner (not entirely my fault, I was making lasagna and realized that at 5pm the sauce needed to simmer another 30 minutes and then the whole thing needed to cook for 90 min…and we were hungry a half hour ago- woops!). Oh well, here’s to the weekend where we can ALL lay around in our undies!!!!!!
Ha ha love this, my son sometimes does the same since school Summer holidays, and no strict schedule to maintain. Love the scramble 10 mins before husband walks in the door, so true!
Lately I’ve been having to write “get dressed” and “dress Claire” on my morning to do list- or it doesn’t seem to happen!
This happens almost daily at my house. 🙂
LOL! Too funny! Swish a little strong smelling cleaner in the toilet……makes it smell like you’ve been cleaning all day!! : )
…….. that’s good!
Genius
lol! i’ve done the same thing with my toddler
The husbands do get wise to this eventually. Mine said one day, “Why does it seem like you’re just starting to get things done right before I get home?”. Smarty pants.
Bah ha ha ha… I didn’t realize this was widespread…
LOL love it!!! Have had many “pact” kind of days too!!!
So cute
Xo,
Lulu
This. Is. Awesome. I am constantly apologizing to people who
Stop by unannounced for my kids’ state of undress. Our house is the naked house.
I used to think it was a bit ridiculous when I would stop by my sister’s and her kids would still be in their pajamas/underwear at 4 in the afternoon….then I had kids of my own and I totally understand it now. haha
how aswesome is this, makes me feel normal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol
love you and your post. you are an amazing person in deed.
choose joy 🙂
Ahahahaha!!!! Too heeelarious. That reminds me – I was IM’ing my hubs today at 400p and in that IM, he declared me the best mom and wife EVER. Needless to say I had a look around, whipped on a cartoon for the kiddos, and I high-tailed whirlwind cleaned up the joint for his arrival home….at 430p. Yes, great wife and mother, indeed.
Been there. Done that.
You are my role model for when I start popping those little chittlins out!
Too funny….and my goodness she looks like you.
Holy moly, I remember doing that with my boys when they were little. I was a stay at home Mom, and there were days spent in front of the sewing machine, and right before hubby came home I’d be running around like a crazy person. Making beds, starting dinner and picking up toys! Fun days!!!
Boo doesn’t look like she likes the idea- undies are better!
Wow. I have 3 boys and can’t believe I never thought of doing that.
I don’t know how many times Ive done that … it happens a lot in the winter time. I love it!!
wow – i am thinking of all the time i wasted getting everyone bathed and dressed everyday. i will say that it made Sunday am’s easier to accomplish on time since it was already a habit. Oh well. My bad for not having a clue, huh?
LOL!! Love it! Thanks for putting a huge smile on my face. 🙂
I always consider jammies to be legitimate day wear 🙂
This is awesome! Yes. I totally makes sure I take a shower an hour before he comes home so that he thinks I was totally on top of it that day.
Happens all the time!! Haha!
When my hubby asked me the other day “What did you do today?” The first things out of my mouth were “got up…showered…made coffee” He lauged that I counted those as thing that were on my to do list! lol. It is summer vacay afterall!
I’m obviously so strict – I operate a ” no clothes, no breakfast” rule. The plus side is that we achieve one thing every day, guaranteed! (and yes, the dishwasher usually gets emptied, reloaded and put on just before my husband gets home each day).
