I had to pop over after reading the article you wrote for Artful Blogger. Love your words to live by! So true and the quote by Slyvia Plath was awesome. I just completed my craft room and seeing these reading nooks made me smile as a special place for a child to read or create is a great idea. I love blogging and creating in my Pink Paris room, so I know kids would love their own. So glad to read you are doing well as I lost my first hubby to cancer, and now my nephew is battling. I loved how you wrote about chosing JOY as life can cause some to be bitter. Keep creating. I can’t wait to see what you do next (I am loving that Mona Lisa in buttons!!)

I love the baby in the closet, and the palette is incredibly creative, although I dare say my boys would flatten a cute design like that in under 30 seconds. I’ve found that strategically placed baskets are a great way to display/ read books; it’s easy for little fingers to rifle through and put back, and they can be rearranged throughout the house! The gorgeous nook designs are…well…GORGEOUS! : )
