Totally agree with Mr LBB on the TP going OVER the top. The other way is almost blasphemy!
I LOVE the TP article! I will have to show my dh…he almost always puts the TP under while I always make sure to put it over! :))
Love the photos, especially the ones through the gate. He reminds me somewhat of an older Gerard Depardieau. He was obviously enamored by the female form, and there is something very sweet in his portraits.

I tried reading the French school article, but so much of it is stereotypical rubbish that it just made me angry and I quickly gave up. My kids are in French schools, and have been for 8 years now. No, needlework doesn’t happen in every school, refillable fountain pens are not used from 5 here, I have never seen anyone in short shorts for anything and I would throw a major hissy fit if my children were publicly shamed in class about their grades, handwriting etc but it doesn’t happen here. Please do not blindly believe that all French schools are the same, they most definitely are not.
I have to say I knew my “rolls-over-the-top” obsession was justified when the toilet paper makers here in Norway started to make it with Swedish love poems on it (yes, you read right!!). They can only be read when it rolls over the top. The other way round they are simply upside down…. Maybe “rolls over the top” is the European way..:-)
Diesel can probably walk a kitten. On second thought…maybe a kitten can walk HIM!
