the first time I ever saw that quote, I was reading one of my fathers books on Picasso (dad is an art junkie!!). I was an art student at the time and in an epic battle of wills with a professor who made art very differently than I did. I wrote this in the front of my sketchbook for his class, and the professor wrote over it in red pen that I was “no picasso.”
18 years later, and I’m still mad at that professor, and I still love the quote.
and even though I’m no picasso, I think my style of art rocks!!!
