I can’t believe I have a first grader. Yesterday was Boo’s first day of first grade. This morning we had this conversation:
Boo: Can you drop me off in the carpool line like the big kids?
Me: Ok. But am I allowed to come in for morning assembly?
Boo: Only if you sneak in the back so it doesn’t look like you walked me in.
Me: What was the most exciting part of the day?
Boo: Eating lunch with the big kids.
Me: Anything else?
Boo: Being able to go to the big hall bathroom.
Ok wow. She’s officially a big girl.
Now I just have to keep up with recording all of the daily happenings in our little diary we keep in the car like last year.

My daughter started kindergarten this year and I bought a composition book to keep notes on the daily news/drama that she tells me when I pick her up. Thanks for the idea. 🙂
