I’ve been making jewelry for Bryson City Outdoors the past few months. I been mixing quotes, finds from nature and vintage jewelry pieces into these one-of-a-kind necklaces:

I’m not selling them online right now…just in the store…so I can maybe get you to visit our amazing little town of Bryson City, NC in the Great Smoky Mountains.
A little about the store:
Bryson City Outdoors is an outfitter right in the heart of town. You can rent stand up paddle boards and kayaks right on the river and right at Lake Fontana:
At BCO you can buy or rent equipment for hiking and other outdoor activities. We are right near the Appalachian Trail!
Our little town is so darn cute. Cute stores. Cute restaurants. The nicest people. We even have a newly restored steam engine as of just two weeks ago:

I’ve been to Bryson City and visited the bookstore and many of the shops. I didn’t realize the Appalachian Trail was nearby. I used to live by the the blue blaze trail and my mail box was right across from the white blaze trail. I’ve hiked some parts of it in PA. I heard a 74 year old lady on the radio this week with the nickname of Freckles…she loves hiking The Trail in the Smokey Mts.. She said that is her favorite part and she lives near the trail in PA also.
