I promised a few of you I’d do this….just now getting around to it! I have to give all credit to my friend Tara Lorraine because she is the queen of makeup and hair. She shows me what to do regarding either and I just copy her step by step. Now that my hair is getting longer and growing out after cancer I’ve been keeping the sides short and the top longer. That means getting it trimmed on the sides almost every 2 or 3 weeks. I’m thinking about keeping it short for a while because, well,…..I’m on TIME for EVERYTHING now! It only takes me about 5 minutes to get ready.
Here are the products I’m using….you can get them at almost any drugstore:
1. Got 2B Spiking Glue (if you live near a Fresh and Easy….they have a great generic)
2. Got 2B Powder (there are a few different kinds…..I think they’ll all work)
3. Molding Wax (really any kind of hair wax)

Those are the same products that I used when I had pixie cut. Now that I’m growing mine out, I still use them. I comb them through more now but they are greater for the unmanageable layers that haven’t completely grown out.
Plus my son uses them for his umm faux hawks.

Hey Ashley
Can I ask if you got all three products at the same store? And if so, which drugstore? I have never seen the powder before or that brand for the molding wax. I use about three different waxes and am still not quite happy with any.
Thanks, Jennifer

I have the same hair length and LOVE the got2be stuff!!! The spiking glue is awesome. I recommend the Blasting Freeze Spray for extra hold if hair is a little longer. 🙂

Yes! Good idea… Have everyone copy your “suspicious” hair style, and all go to airports around the nation at the same exact time! Think there will be any delays??? 😉

I use Chi products for my pixie. The Pliable Polish is fantastic!

Yay! Thank you for posting this, I’m so glad you did! I have short hair and I normally side sweep it (cos I’m rather grand-daddy like that) but I saw yours and thought, I’ll try me some of that (with some moulder) and I ended up looking like a rhino. So I had to do a rhino face:
It appears I was mislead into thinking I could style my hair with just one product and my fingers as I usually do for a quick ‘oh no, I’m running late, scrab my fingers through my hair, yup, that’ll do!’.
I think I just invented the word scrab.
Anyway, thanks!!

Hey, that’s a cute look! I would look like a boy, though – I’m used to have short hair with a little longer “side-swept bangs”, and a “naked forehead” would make me feel uncomfortable. My favorite product is a gel by Swiss-O-Par which smells like coconut <3
Fun fact of the day: The "Schwarzkopf" brand comes from Germany, and we have those products, too. But in Germany, they're simply called "Got 2 Be", not "Göt 2 Be" – those umlauts must be a marketing gag for English speaking countries 🙂

I cut my hair really short awhile ago, but had been sporting a long bang, which was making me NUTS! When I saw your new style, I had to steal it(sorry)! I printed your picture and took to my stylist…I LOVE it-yours and mine! THANKS!
