Pinterest is officially addicting. I kind of wish I’d never discovered it. I find myself browsing and pinning into the wee hours of the night……just because it’s there. (Click here or image below to view my Pinterest boards)
But as fun as Pinterest is to browse, I’ll never give up my inspiration books:
I use large computation notebooks (I get them at the office supply store) because they have extra large cardstock weight pages:
I fill the pages of these books with colors, designs, products, words etc. Anything that catches my eye……bits of fabric, a design pattern, a shop to visit, a website to browse…..it all goes in my “inspiration” books.
I love browsing the pages of these books and looking at pretty things. It’s a constant source of inspiration when I need it. I get rid of magazines as quickly as they come in…..I cut out things I love and get rid of the rest.

Those computation notebooks look awesome, I might have to have one for myself. I love pinterest too, there is just so much to see and it is such a great way to discover new sites, the only thing that I dislike is that you can’t always find the original source of some things, it is especially frustrating when I want to purchase something fabulous I’ve found!

Ashley, I feel the same….it is very addicting and I wish I would have never found it:) I do love it though, everything is on there.

I don’t know what it is holding me back, but I’m scared to try pinterest for some reason! It seems like everything I try has such a huge learning curve for me! It seems like it might be fun….maybe I should just dive in!

Pinterest is really addicting, I pin late at night too…oops! And I love when you post about the inspiration books! My mom is a teacher and has A TON of used journals that students never take home…this is a perfect way to recycle them! Thank you!!!

Love your blog and am already a follower, but saying hi from AFD:)

I am just gonna admit right now, I gave about 20 inspiration journals and notebooks, mostly sketches that my little girls have taken over. I need to find one and be adamant about. Not letting them use it. It is just that they are usually the only thing I always have with me so they are often used for babysitters 🙂

Came over from Angel Face Designs but I’ve follow this blog for about a year now and just love your tutorials. It’s amazing work on your behalf. Also, Boo’s Angel will always be there when you need him, just think of him and your heart will smile.

Love your inspiration books!! I was wondering do you categorize them at all? if so, do you categorize them the same as you do in Pinterest?
