I thought this would be a fun idea for a holiday party or birthday party….an instant photo booth set up to print the photos immediately. I use the photo booth app Pocketbooth for my 4-photo snaps.
First I take the 4 photos. Anyone else get unnecessary anxiety in photo booths?
To maximize paper I cut 2.5″ wide pieces of cardstock. I used popsicle sticks as the new tray guides because most printer trays do not shrink small enough. The strips of paper slide right in to their new tray:
My printer doesn’t have a center roller inside to feed the paper through, so the strips have to be just wide enough so they catch part of the rollers:
Once my photos are ready and the paper is ready in the tray, I use Airprint on my iPhone to send them to the printer:
Quick and easy to set up a photo booth and print in real time from multiple smart phones or iPads:
I’ve been testing out an HP Envy recently for my work at Babble and I’ve discovered a whole new world of ePrinting too. Anywhere I am, in the whole world, I can print a photo or document to my home computer….just by emailing it to my ePrint email address. So I took some photos of Diesel and his new haircut of course…doggy photo booth. He growled and snapped at me….but I got some cute photo booth photos of him anyway.
