Editor’s Note 1: Boo says she wants to be a writer when she grows up and has been writing a lot lately. Mostly about horses, Santa Claus and tigers. But, she wrote a blog post last night. I’m not sure it quite fits in editorially to my theme, but maybe a different perspective is good. When I first read it I had visions of that movie I am David. She wrote it out below, but I liked the personal touch of the rough draft so I’m posting a photo of that.
Life
Life is fun age 1-8.
Life is boring 9-18.
Life is very hard 19-39.
Life is hard 40-69.
Editor’s Note 2: I asked what comes after age 69 and she said:
“People start shrinking.”
“Grandma plays kickball, but I’m not sure what other old people do.”
“Maybe you pay more taxes. It’s hard to pay taxes when you don’t make any money though.”
Her sources were Great Grandma, Grandma and CNBC.
These are things to look forward to: shrinking, kickball……and, well, I already pay taxes.

This is precious. However, I think she will probably want to revise her line on ages 9-18 say in about 10 or so years. However, I think she is probably correct on the other ages. This is one thing that needs to be kept.

Great first post, Boo! You made my day. I’m turning 38 this year and I’m so pumped that I’m almost out of the “life is very hard” category to just “life is hard.” I could REALLY use a break here. 🙂

Oh my word, the “about the author” is a fun surprise there at the bottom.
I love her little book doodle too. I’m not sure I would have known how to do that at her age.

I couldn’t decide if that was a book doodle or like a dark angel swooping down!

She is so funny! Purple is my favorite color too.
I saw her pic on the billboard for her school.
She’s famous like her mom now too!

Yes, she already is quite a writer! Watch out…children do what we do and, thank the Lord, she is modeling you very well! You and Brett are wonderful parents! Love you forever, mom

Like mother, like daughter. : ) Great first post Boo! I enjoyed reading it. I especially loved the doodle at the top of your paper. When I looked at it, I seen a bat, maybe its a rorschach inkblot?

Isn’t that drawing of the book of life?
