You bring up a good point. I used to carry around a fancy SLR film camera back in the day. Now our phones sorta fill that gap. I have a fancy but simple point and shoot. I don’t even think the battery is charged. Have you noticed how obsessed people are with taking photos once you decide to actually “BE” in the moment- you really do notice so much more. Not that I begrudge anyone the forever image. Technology is amazing. I live where it’s a short walk to an amazing view of Mt. Rainier, and I never have my camera ready and my phone just won’t cut it when it come to the massive clarity she holds when she is in full view. It just occurred to me after nearly a year… DUH! Why do I have to take a photo every time to enjoy it? So I sat there and inhaled the view. 😀 It was awesome. 😀
