More Spring LBB (by Monika McSweeney Photography)

Monika McSweeney takes the most beautiful natural light photos. She recently took photos of a few pieces from my spring collection…..and I just can’t stop looking at them! Her daughter Grace and her BFF Mary Rose are naturals….here they are modeling “Grace’s Dress” and the “Swiss Miss” Drop Waist Knit Dress:


Artwork on both dresses was designed by artist Stephanie Corfee especially for Lil Blue Boo and each piece is hand silk screened:

Tomorrow part of my Spring 2011 Lil Blue Boo collection will be available for pre-order (click here to view)! I jokingly named it “What the Folk?” since there is a folk art them throughout the pieces…and the name stuck. Check it out if you get a chance!

Boo’s Photo Project "Let’s Do 52"

I was all set to participate in Paint the Moon’s “Let’s Do 52” Project….but then I thought it would be SO much more fun to help Boo participate. After all, she DID ask Santa for a “camera with legs, but no feet”….and I personally think a 3-year-old could have a lot to say through photography 😉

Boo got a hand-me-down camera from her Mimi and Papa and Mommy and Daddy bought her a mini tripod:


Week 1’s theme is New Beginnings…..so last night I taught Boo how to use the timer on her little camera. She took this photo of the two of us….I think she did a pretty good job!

Lil Blue Boo / Paint the Moon Giveaway

A holiday giveaway! Two winners will receive a set of one adult and one child’s vintage camera print tees PLUS a $25 gift card to Paint the Moon Photography. I use Paint the Moon’s actions to edit my photos….I can’t imagine my photos without them now!

These vintage cameras were designed by the fabulous artist Stephanie Corfee! Annie from Paint the Moon took these amazing photos of her daughter wearing one of the tees….and of course the photos were edited using her own actions!



Contest ends Friday at noon and the winners will be announced after the holiday weekend.
