Friday I had a three month check up at my oncologist to go over some scans. All looks good….and so does this gown right?!

Stuck on level 65 of Candy Crush. Losing. Mind.

Friday night Mr. LBB and I went out with some friends to see Jewel at The Show (Agua Caliente):

It was my friend Jackie’s birthday and her hubby set it up as a surprise. She was surprised!

After the concert, we found the 80’s All Starz in the casino lounge….

…..and we danced until way past our bedtime! Oh and it was Mr. LBB’s birthday this weekend too. Thanks to whoever left these $$ glasses in the casino lounge:

Hand Stamped Party and Table Decor

In the new issue of Moyo Magazine I wrote a column about DIY Party Decor:

…..a few photos were used from the projects below but I thought I’d share some additional photos that are centered around DIY stamping! It’s very easy to carve your own stamp…and depending on the theme of your party or gathering a single stamp can carry all the way through:

Add tiny accents (dots, stars, hearts etc) with a smaller stamp made from a pencil eraser:

For these invitations I printed out the “Home Sweet Home” on regular card stock, rounded the corners of each invite and added the stamp:

Roll some fabric paint onto a paper plate and use it to stamp your table cloth and napkins:

Having a wine tasting? Stamp a few old book pages with a hand carved stamp:

Wild Hearts Can’t Be Broken

It was my birthday this weekend. I recently bought one of my favorite movies from when I was younger to share with Boo and so Friday was movie night:

I think I cried over 10 times watching it. It was even better than I remembered. “Manure just happens to be my specialty.” I’m so happy Boo loved it….she cried over 10 times too.

I woke up Sunday morning to a jelly donut and a McDonald’s iced coffee…perfect! And my mom sent me an Olive Garden gift certificate….but on the way to Olive Garden we did something craaaazy and detoured to Red Lobster. None of us had ever been to one.

…and for most of the weekend I enjoyed my favorite pastime: projects. Lots of projects.

I’m working on the Lil Blue Boo office and my office in the house. Re-organizing and re-decorating. Everything is in total upheaval right now but I’ll share some progress pics soon!

Today I painted a table…among other things. And yes, that’s a monkey in the background. (a chalkboard monkey….he’s our “guest book”)
