Thank you notes are so important. I had to write them when I was younger and Boo has to do the same. Here are some cute Christmas themed ones that you can just print onto card stock…..it’s easy for your kiddos to just fill in the blanks. They fit into regular sized stationary envelopes! Enjoy!
A Santa Nesting Doll (Free Download)
I made this Santa Nesting doll (aka Matryoshka doll) image last Christmas for a free download through Facebook and completely forgot about it until I was cleaning up some files on my computer tonight. Click below to download this image to make a few last minute gifts, holiday outfits or thank you notes! I used it last year for a few t-shirts by printing it out on iron-on transfer paper. You can find tutorials on transfer paper here.
I’ve been obsessed with Matryoshka dolls for my whole life. According to Wikipedia the first nesting doll was made in 1880. Sometimes they are called babushka dolls too. I love the word babushka…but I never knew it meant grandmother until today.
Looking for more Christmas crafts? Make sure to check out this Nativity printable available on Etsy now for $1.00. Print it out onto card stock and gift in a mason jar with the little peg dolls:
Green Robot
I printed the robot directly onto freezer paper, cut out the image and used fabric paint (Jacquard is of course my favorite) to fill in the image. (Read this tutorial for more info on freezer paper stenciling, and fabric paint.) The greens don’t match exactly….but I didn’t have the right blue paint to mix with the yellow!
I’m definitely going to use him again soon! Here is my template if you want to make your own. Click to download the PDF:
